Interesting thoughts about fairies. I know all the tales from the UK and always figured maybe it's different in the U.S. On the other hand, I think of all the native stories here about beings (not ancestral) in different areas in nature in the U.S. and wonder...

I myself always have loved and felt close to fairies yet also a heartbreaking veil at the same time.

I also found it interesting about that desire to not come back to the planet again, have this be ones last incarnation here etc. I thought of all my close friends throughout my life who are at all remotely spiritual, beyond just religious or scientific thinking, and how they all have expressed that. I've always felt like I love this planet and would come back again very happily. I'm happy to go somewhere else too, I just also love Gaia so much and would be happy to serve here as long as needed. It never matched others I know, and I'm not sure why I feel this way but always have. I've spent my life trying to understand human nature, and I still can't say that I do. But if given a choice, if I died tomorrow, I'd say yes to being human again.

I just asked a friend on the phone that question and she's clear she doesn't ever want to come back. It's a fascinating conversation to me, as also i remember all my friends when in my 20's saying they didn't want to have kids, to bring them into such a terrible world. I always thought, "Isn't that the reason to have them, knowing what you know?" But I can see both sides of it for sure.

This is such a generous and inspiring weekly offering, Drustan. i listened in last week and learned so much...practical and esoteric from all you covered. Also really enjoyed hearing the participants recount the different ways they feel, use, and interact with plants. The info opened up a lot for me.

Then I just listened to the truly beautiful Equinox talk with Zach and he shared such helpful information about the living energies in Nature as a consciousness and how to commune with and receive the wisdom of this consciousness.

With this expanded perspective i come back around to feeling what a gift it is that you are sharing your lifelong learning and conversation with the plants in this weekly way now.
