Originally from Manchester in Britain with a fond nature connection to Derbyshire + the Peak District landscape ; lived in rural welsh speaking West Wales for several years around my 40 years threshold of life, i have family/ancestral links there on my mother's side + have a holiday connection to Aberdaron on the Llyn Peninsula ; family link to rural Aberdeen + personal link to the highlands of Scotlands through time wwoofing there ; currently living in the national forest + mountains of the Haut Couserans region of the Ariège in the French Pyrénées since end of 2016
