I went on a journey with the fungi allies today and part of the time we spent harvesting horsetail from this place I found last spring. It's near the Ohio River in the lowlands of the valley. Apparently exactly where horsetail thrives, as you can see in the photo. It was a literal field of horsetail. Such an amazing plant and so satisfying to hear that popping noise when you pick it! 💥 I felt so supported in my bones and teeth especially standing in this field.

Went up the Trillium trail and found it's namesake along with a white violet and may flowers among other beautiful plant allies like the spring ferns. Reconnected with Oak on this Blue Eagle day as well, aligning the mystical column within and without. Such a gift, nature and all Gaia's magic ✨ 🌱🌳💚
