Oh the trees! It's so understandable what a challenge and emotional response you'd have. I've witnessed this at friends backyard, the sanctuary exposed on one side when well meaning gardeners cut down all the high bushes there. All I can think is "roll with the changes", ack.

You've been around a long time in all this, so know the whole "prepare...something big is coming." I personally just don't watch those videos anymore, because, yeah, it triggers fear and helplessness. I'm sure you remember 2012 and al that. I knew we'd all be fine, and yeah, boyscout motto always in place. I get solace in the remembering that we're all in this together.

I just love, love, love your expressing your way, that you respect and see yourself and your unique gifts and ways in the world. You see what works, what doesn't, nothing to force. By your sharing, it allows all of us to keep going in that direction, let go of comparing and respect and love, dare I say admire (even with humility), ourselves! True empowerment. Yes!
