Dear friends, 

I know that today, Monday is the day of the Red Spectral Serpent and the “shedding of the skin” Liberation day.

I wanted to share that I have a grandfather who Is a Red Spectral Serpent and shares the same glyph as me. and tomorrow is his Galactic birthday. 

I was especially touched that he also

shares the same GB as William Shakespeare (because my grandfather was a poet). He came from Scotland as a young man; a bricklayer by trade and helped rebuild San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake and fire. A few years later he sent for his fiancé, Lizzie. And she (my grandmother) came from Scotland on the next ship after the Titanic.

They resided  in New Jersey and had three sons. I  only got to meet my grandfather three times in my life. We corresponded when I was a teen. When I was 21, I took a trip across the country and I visited him. I remember he showed me a sassafras tree. He was living in a retirement home out in the country in Hackettstown, New Jersey.

A few months after I visited him, he died at the age of 100.

I was delighted to find out that he shares the same glyph as me and so I have a special place in my heart for him tomorrow!

I have more to say about his bricklaying , but I’ll save that for another time.
