October 14 and Hindu Calendar
It’s such a joy to read all the beautiful posts from everybody bringing the highest intentions into the space and strengthening the new earth timeline.
I would take this opportunity to weave in the significance of these times from the Hindu soli-lunar calendar perspective. Starting with the last full moon on October 8, the eighth Hindu month of Kartik began. Lord Vishnu’s favorite month, Kartik is considered one of the most auspicious of the months where devotion, prayers, donations and penance, and taking a dip in holy Ganga are considered very potent. Vishnu, Lakshmi, Shiv are all offered prayers in this month. The new moon of this month is Diwali, the Festival of Lights and a symbol of truth winning over dark and ignorance.
Coming to Oct 14, it is the eighth lunar day (Tithi) of the dark fortnight (Krishna paksh or waning moon). Eighth tithi (called ashtami) is considered significant as it not only relates to the potential for transformation, but also Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu was born on ashtami of dark fortnight and ashtami is also related to goddess Durga in her nine forms. So October 14 is significant from the tithi perspective. Significant for yours truly because that’s the tithi I was born on, celebrated as Ahoi Ashtami and the day I land in my homeland, on my birthday as the moon traverses the same Punarvasu nakshatra as my rising. Everything is a fractal. All roads lead to the loving source. By divine grace I have had the opportunity to do a lot of donation and prayers for peace to reside in every heart.
So blessed to be sharing this time-space with you all. Blessings for a beautiful new multidimensional beingness!🌟

Shikha you hold such beautiful space for this tribe! Thank you for sharing, and happy solar return!
