I’m grieving today because Jackie, the bald eagle at Big Bear died today. She’s known all over the world because of the live bald eagle camera. In the last two years, she and her partner Shadow, brought four eagles into the world. Early this year, their

first two eggs were taken by ravens. They tried again and on Easter laid a couple eggs. And those eagles I believe, have fled and left the nest. I’m so sorry for her partner. Shadow and I hope he finds another mate.
