I went on a dream with a few people in the breakout room in the next level of dream teacher training I am doing. What an unexpected wonderfully healing dream, and I had the thought to share.
The prompt was to imagine a man walking in nature singing. He approaches a tree with a bird in it and a guitar at the base of the tree.
Entering the dream, I see and hear the man whistling along with the bird singing. He sees the guitar and sits under the tree, picks it up and begins to play Spanish flamenco music. I think "Spanish Lullaby" and am transported to singing a lullaby to my son. I see him then as an adult, then even an old man, and how this lullaby soothes him, he always need his mother. I am so moved, I am crying from this. More tears come as I see myself on my mom's lap as she sings to me a playful song we made up and sang together, "I Can Feel Your Heartbeat", when I was little. I see myself in Mother Mary's lap as she sings to me. I see I need my mother, me, now, to sing to me this lullaby that has me feel so calm, safe, and loved.
As an action step of this dream, I said I would sing this to myself, and I did.
I also played the song a few times as I walked today. The birds gathered around, butterflies kept passing around me, and the trees and plants and flowers brightened. I experienced Mother Earth singing this lullaby to me, so many tears of gratitude flowing.
This song is one I heard live at a nightclub I worked at a couple of years before my son was born. I vowed then that if I ever had children that I would sing this to them. Keeping my promise, this was the main lullaby I sang to my son Drew.

The thread in your dream weaves so many aspects and connections. Loved reading the gently flowing story so beautifully unraveled.
