The lady I work for has a big old-fashioned bathtub and there’s been  a big spider that got trapped in it for a few days. I’m wondering whether to help him get out. ..?

I do have an appreciation for spiders. I loved listening to Charlotte’s Web again and again , as I was driving back-and-forth doing a move 10 years ago. .. Such a beautiful seasonal poetic story.

I went to a hot spring about a month ago, and as I was soaking, the person near me pointed  out “be careful because there is  a big spider on the wall behind you!” Sure enough there is a ledge that runs around the pool and there was a long legged spider about a foot away from me, weaving a web.

I turned and watched her, and I  noticed how elegantly she wove the web with her long legs, as the silk thread  is coming out of her behind.!   

The  person who spoke, left the tub and within seconds , a blackbird landed there , on the ledge, walked purposefully  towards me.  He stopped, turned and looked at me with  yellow eyes. He then turned to  the spider, ate it and was gone in an instant.  I’ll never forget that moment, the way he looked at me as if to say “I got here first ..my dinner.”

When I go back, I’ll rescue that other spider into the wild.  I wonder if we get any credits when we do a good deed for these “formidable” creatures.

When we were on a dragon wave spell about a year or two ago, I was out in my garden, and I had a yellow glazed pot that was empty. A little lizard had gotten into the pot and because it was very shiny glaze, he was running in place trying to get out. I got to rescue him and help him out.. those  adorable little lizards. They’re like little manifestations of dragons don’t you think?

It’s really fun when we have a wavespell about a creature because we get to see how it manifests;…Still having many white dog encounters 🐶🐶
