I've been to Stinson beach a few times these last few weeks. and its always an adventure!! These last few weeks, the tides have been extreme and thousands of Blue jellyfish have been washed up on the beach.

These unique jellyfish can float, have a sail; and are surfing the waves to an unfortunate ending! 'There is a crust of the drying jellyfish on the beach and I have been scooping up some for my garden. the Plants respond favorable

Interesting they have a right or left handed sail,, depending on whether they're in the southern or Northern hemisphere. (Blue hand wavespell)

Also sitting on a sand dune there was a plant next to me ..seemed to love growing in the sand.. Looked it up and it was. friendly member of the artemesia family.... Native to Asia!!
