It's taken me a few days to get through this call in pieces. Just finished it and wow, what a great set of reflections and perspectives. I was reminded of one of the most meaningful aya ceremonies I had several years ago where I could see myself inside a thing like the Ezekiel's wheel. The whole scene was occurring in the cosmos and the self I saw inside was a long golden smooth sleek human-shaped body with arm/wings off the sides. It moved via spin and spun inside the rings for a olong time then eventually spun out of the rings. As I was traveling through this realm, I realized that anything I thought of would immediately appear. I understood then that I was spinning around in the realm of creation. Then I saw a lineup of what I felt were my ancestors. When I spun towards them, the entire lineup began to glow, raised their arms and started spinning as well. When they started spinning, it felt as though they were becoming liberated. I've always wanted to paint or draw this. The imagery is still so clear after at least a decade. After the ceremony, I wanted to figure out what the name of the ringed thing was, and all I could relate it to was an armilary. I'm going to read about Ezekiel's wheel now to see if it feels resonant with that experience. As for the spinning golden self, I have only seen one thing, many years later, that was close to it and that was in the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (see attached). This shows how my spinning self moved and is the same shape, but in my vision I was more metallic gold and without too many bodily details.
