Waters of Mu
A couple of weeks ago I had a peculiar dream. Maybe it would be more correct to say that I forgot everything I dreamt, apart from hearing ”You will die at the mountain of Mu” over and over like a mantra throughout the night. It didn’t bring me fear, but it did make me pay attention.
I had heard of Mu, often mentioned in connection to Lemuria which is of course something that keeps coming up in spiritual circles. Some googling showed little of substance with regards to Mu and Lemuria, and in the end I had to write it on a mental sticky note, leave it and get on with my life.
One evening a few weeks later I was rehearsing the phonetic transcriptions for hieroglyphs before a class, when I came across the familiar hieroglyph for water, in plural. It is three zigzag lines on top of each other. ”Mu”, I said aloud, because, that is how we think it is pronounced, and stopped when I heard myself.

Mu is the word for the waters in the Ancient Egyptian language. What an interesting coincidence.
A few days ago I listened to Heather Ensworths program on 31 Atlas and the upcoming full moon. Towards the end of the show she talks about where the upcoming full moon is in the sky.
”The full moon […] in the sky is here, in the stars of Pisces, in the deep waters of the sky and how incredible, that it’s conjunct Salacia, the goddess of the calm sea, the calm waters, supporting us in calming those turbulent emotions within us, supporting us in knowing we are being held, in the currents of the waters of the Earth, and the Cosmos, to help us remember.
Ke’oni Hanalei talks beautifully about the creation story of the ancient Mu, that is about how the plasmic beings originated creation of organic life here on Earth, morphed into the waters of the Earth, to support us in bringing forth life on the planet, so the waters guide us in remembering who we are, our origins, and what we are capable of coming back to connection with, as we are in this transformational time, to remember who we truly are, why we are here and to know that we are held in Pisces, the love of the cosmos and the waters of the earth and sky, to carry us through this time of transition and transformation.”
I am not overly familiar with Ke’oni Hanalei, but I always appreciate his discussions with Heather Ensworth. They are rich and expansive, and always seem to send you off into space or some other distant shore, or right back into the heart, the closest place. I have heard Ke’oni Hanalei describing Mu as the principle of love, Atlantis that he argues is ongoing as the principle of separation (if I remember correctly). But it is interesting, this connection between water and love.

A year ago when I had just started studying hieroglyphs, I suddenly became interested in the term Merkaba. There are so many sources that argue that the word comes from a combination of three ancient Egyptian words, Mer, Ka and Ba supposedly meaning ”light”, ”spirit” and ”body”. I wanted to see if I could find the corresponding hieroglyphs, since none of the sources that I’d found would actually provide that. I did not find any hieroglyphs with the same meaning; but I did find some that I felt gave an interesting extra dimension to the term. The mr of pyramid, the ka of kA-soul, the ba of bA-soul.
The word mer, though, or mr, kept tickling my brain. At one point the author Gertie Englund wrote about Hathor’s vast ”mr-power”; and I was confused. It is not entirely clear from the text, but with the help of my teacher, we deduced that it meant mr-power as in, the power of love and attraction.
Because apart from pyramid, the sound mr can also mean love. You do not use the hieroglyph for pyramid then though, you use either another hieroglyph which we think is an agricultural tool or you use this hieroglyph which is a channel of water. A water channel, a water canal.

A water channel also carries the association of love in the Ancient Egyptian language.
So you have mu meaning the waters in Ancient Egyptian, and the ancient lands of Mu being associated with the principle of love. And then you have the Ancient Egyptian word mr meaning love, being spelled with a hieroglyph that is an ideogram of a channel of water.
Now of course, this could be entirely coincidental and circumstantial, as it is not uncommon with a disconnect when it comes to what hieroglyphs depict and what we gather is their actual meaning (according to our current understanding at least). But it is interesting. If you look to the latter paragraph, you see that this hieroglyph, this mr is also associated with weaving, which makes me think of weaving something into existence, which in turn again makes me think of Hathor’s mr-power.
I’m reminded again of a discussion between Pam Gregory and the ascended master Zac last year that touched on the link between water and manifestation:
”Every single water way around the Earth, whether it be an ocean, a lake, a river, a stream, a pond, is all getting the same level of energy and the moon is very very instructive in this[…] because the moon at night wherever you are in the world, when night comes, is a cleansing force. […] If we can trust in the water we can give ourselves another clue to have divine magnificence coming into us with every glass of water that we drink.”
I remember how Pam Gregory leans forward in her seat, her whole self laser-focused, asking: ”Is that water receiving the imprint of the prevailing pattern at the time, and as we ingest the water this is interacting with our original birth chart blue print, is that the physical explanation of how astrology may work?”
Zac: Yes.

It makes you think whether the mr of Merkaba could actually be the channel of water, denoting love and manifestation. And if it is a coincidence that the pyramids were also called by that same word (though spelled differently).
It also, of course, makes you think of the mayan glyph Muluc, the moon, which in common mayan usage means raindrop or water, associated with remembrance, healing and cosmic communication.

As to why I’d ”die” at the mountains of Mu, I don’t know. Preferably we’re talking about a re-birth kind of thing.

I've been getting these two cards repeatedly the last few weeks. The cosmic ocean and water codes.

Great deep dive Sanna !!! Thanks for sharing🙏
